Free Teacher Membership Program for Bay Area Educators!
FREE Teacher Memberships are available for teachers in the following Bay Area counties:
- Santa Clara
- San Mateo
- Alameda
- Contra Costa
- San Francisco
- Santa Cruz
- Marin
Teacher memberships apply to all K-12 public, private, home school teachers, principals, district and county certificated employees, currently working in the Bay Area.
We invite you to become a member of our learning community and find a professional "home" here at The Tech. Ultimately, we hope you join us in promoting learning through design and innovation as part of your professional practice.
As a Teacher Member you'll receive the following privileges:
- Free year-round admission and express entry to The Tech's exhibit gallery for the educator named on card
- $30 Discount on the Friend Plus, Family or Grandparent membership category

- Members Only events including exhibit openings, summer and holiday parties, and periodic IMAX screenings.

* Ticket purchase is limited by membership category.
To sign up as a Teacher Member, visit The Tech and go to the ticket counter. Please identify yourself as a Bay Area teacher and you will be given a form to fill out. Once the form is submitted, you will be issued a membership.
Onsite registration is required for the Free Teacher Membership. This membership is not available by phone, by mail, or online.
Teacher member benefits are not transferable.
