Program Details: Two Classes Make a Full Day at The Tech

We've found that campers who attend multiple weeks and a variety of classes build a stronger connection to the camp community and enhance essential science and technology skills even further! While part-day options are available, our camp is a full-day experience consisting of:

• Morning class from 9am-12pm
• One-hour supervised lunch break
• A different afternoon class from 1pm-4pm
• Camp traditions and ceremonies

The Tech Summer Camps will run Monday-Friday from June 16-August 15. Extended care is available from 8-9am and 4-5:30pm.

For campers attending the full day, we offer a supervised lunch from 12 - 1 p.m. Campers bring their own lunch or purchase a boxed lunch option from The Tech's Primavera Café.

• Full-day campers receive a $40 discount on the second class and an additional $40 off by enrolling in Science of Sports or Tech Explorers!

Pricing

Take advantage of these pricing discounts:

• Up to $20 off per week when you enroll by February 29th
• $40 off for attending a full day of camp
• Additional $40 off for combining a Lab Class with Science of Sports or Tech Explorers

*Additional $50 lab fee for all technology- related classes due to high technology costs. Refer to class list for details.

Scholarships

As a core part of our mission, Galileo is committed to making summer camp available to a diverse group of kids every year. We set aside 10% of spots at our camp programs for scholarships valued at over $450,000 for 2008. The Galileo Scholarship program awards full and partial scholarships to low- and. middle-income families who need financial assistance.

The 2008 Scholarship Application deadline has now passed. We will no longer be accepting applications for this summer.

Refund Policy

• Fees are refundable on or before April 1st ($10 processing fee per class cancelled).
• 75% of camp and extended care fees are refundable if requested April 2nd - May 31st.
• No refund for camp and extended care fees starting June 1st.
• Class date changes are possible, space permitting, for a $10 fee per class changed.
• No changes within 7 days prior to the start of any class
• The Tech reserves the right to cancel any class, in which case fees are 100% refundable.
