TimesSelect, the restricted online content of The New York Times, is now free to students and faculty with .edu e-mail addresses. Sign up on http://www.nytimes.com/. This service allows access to content from the Opinion section. It has been restricted to paying subscribers since September 2005. TimesSelect includes pieces from columnists like David Brooks, Maureen Dowd, Thomas Friedman, Bob Herbert, Nicholas Kristof, Paul Krugman, and Frank Rich.
