A cooler end to the spring season

As we near the close of the spring season, the warm weather from just two weeks ago is giving way to cooler and more moderate temperatures, with highs in the 50s and lows in the 40s. Expect to see
cloudy skies in Boston with scattered showers throughout the next few days. Sunny weather will be
returning briefly on Friday, but stronger winds and more showers are expected to arrive over the
weekend. If you are looking to take advantage of the spring weather, make sure to dress and plan
accordingly; it’s always a good idea to keep an umbrella handy.

The wet forecast in Massachusetts and the rest of New England is expected to linger into May. In the rest of the U.S., the Southern states are expected to face heavy thunderstorms this weekend, and the West Coast is forecasted to warm up significantly.
