Students use Lego bricks to create replicas of the Shaheed Minar, a national monument of Bangladesh, at an event hosted by the MIT Bangladeshi Students’ Association (MIT-BSA) in the Mezzanine Lounge of the Stratton Student Center last Saturday in observance of International Mother Language Day. First announced by UNESCO in 1999, this observance is held annually on February 21 worldwide to promote awareness of linguistic and cultural diversity.
