A memorial appeared in Building 3 on Monday morning following the death of Kelsey Brigance ’12, who was a Course 2A graduate and a member of the Alpha Chi Omega sorority. A note at the memorial read in part: “Last night, Kelsey was killed in a sailing accident. She was known as [a] fearless engineer, a brilliant technician, [and] an amazing friend. She was forever exploring her passions: Course 16, then Course 2, rowing, theater, the outdoors, [and] sorority life. Today, let’s remember Kelsey, and to honor her memory, lets be fearless. Let’s be brilliant. Let’s never stop exploring.”
