High pressure in control
No need to worry about rainfall! New England should see sunny skies for the next several days as a large area of high pressure dominates the weather across the northeastern U.S.
Expect light winds and a sudden warm-up through this weekend. Highs should reach near 80 today, and increase dramatically by Sunday.
In fact, New England may experience a heat wave during early next week as highs approach the 90s. This is surely a warm welcome for the new freshman class arriving! Hopefully the temperatures will cool down a bit by late next week.
