Taekwondo team kicks their way to second place at Brown
The MIT Sport Taekwondo Team ended a fantastic season on a high note at Brown University, bringing home a second place trophy in Division I of the Eastern Collegiate Taekwondo Conference on Sunday, November 19.

The MIT Sport Taekwondo team kicked off its spring season at the Princeton tournament of the Eastern Collegiate Taekwondo Conference (ECTC). With strong showings across all belt groups, the team seized second place with 427 points, their best performance in two years.

Despite fighting with historically small numbers, the MIT Taekwondo team advanced against East Coast powerhouse teams such as West Point and Tufts to take second place in Division I of the Eastern Collegiate Taekwondo Conference.

The MIT Taekwondo team placed second in Division I at the final Eastern Collegiate Taekwondo Conference (ECTC) tournament of the year. This tournament was held at the University of Vermont on April 9, hosting 17 schools with about 290 competitors.
